About The Instructor
BARBARA CHATZKEL has experience in working with nonprofit organizations than spans the country and goes back more than thirty years. As President of New River Group she provides Organizational Excellence consulting, Executive and Team Business Coaching, and Governance consulting, training, and speaking.
Her passion is helping nonprofits transform their boards and organizations to best serve their clients. As a problem solver, she collaborates with boards to identify the core issue and develop action steps to achieve new results.
In her volunteer work, Barbara has held most nonprofit volunteer positions – Board Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Governance Chair, Committee member, facilitator and volunteer. This gives her the grounding to provide solutions from real world experience.
She was named one of the 2015 Top Ten Business Women by the American Business Women's Association (ABWA).
Barbara holds a B.A. in Political Science from Harpur College at Binghamton University and an MPA from Golden Gate University. She studied for and passed her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as part of her rehab from brain surgery.
Her book, Business Body Language: Your Visual Business Card, will be available in print in late 2018.
